Sustainable Design

At Race Cottam, we take our environmental responsibilities very seriously. Our Sustainability Working Group (SWG) is comprised of highly experienced professionals who advise, monitor and lead the practice on all aspects of environmental impact.

All projects undergo sustainability reviews to assess their environmental impact and interpret the client’s target in terms of the completed building. The SWG works closely with our other internal working groups responsible for design and technology to ensure our staff obtain constantly updated training and information on sustainable design.

The Race Cottam Sustainability Working Group is currently leading several initiatives, both internally and in conjunction with other organisations to provide practical solutions to issues of sustainable design.
