Progroup AG & Krystals Advanced Packaging Park

Corrugated board manufacturers Progroup AG and packaging manufacturer Krystals are set to expand operations at Ellesmere Port packaging park. Race Cottam are currently developing phase 3 designs for the extension of the Progroup AG facitlity, which will significantly increase flexiblity and efficiency in production processes.
Project Phases
Race Cottam were appointed in 2019 to undertake architecture, lead designer and landscape services for phases 2 & 3 of the site masterplan, undertaking RIBA Stages 1-6. Planning consent was obtained for phases 2 and 3 of the scheme, which encompasses 2 manufacturing facilities across a 47 acres site. Phase 2 was completed in summer 2020, delivering the new packaging facility with associated staff amenity and landscaping. Phase 3 is due to commence on site in early 2022.
